To export a report into MS Excel file format, perform the following steps:
Step 1 |
Navigate to the report that you want to export. |
Step 2 |
Run the report. |
The report page appears. |

Step 3 |
Click
the The Export to Excel Setup pop-in window appears. |
Step 4 |
Select the appropriate check boxes under the Export to Excel Setup. |
Step 5 |
Select the appropriate check boxes in the Text in Header (center in header) section. |
Note: If you select one or more check boxes from the ‘Text in Header (centered in header)’ section, relevant text appears in the header section of the downloaded report. |

Step 6 |
Enter the text in the Text in Footer (centered in footer) field. |
The text that you enter appears center aligned in the Excel file as a footer. |

Note: If you do not enter any text, default value of the footer appears from the CommonLabels.properties file in the config folder. |

Step 7 |
Select the range of records that should appear in the exported file under the Choose records for Export field. |
Step 8 |
Click Export button. |
The File Download window appears. |

In this window, you can either save the report by clicking the Save button or open the report by clicking the Open button or you can click Cancel button to cancel and close the window. If you have saved any user preferences or applied color conditions or icons to the report that you export, the same conditions or preferences appear in the exported Excel file. |
